Can someone explain a dream? I had a great day yesterday with my daughters - spent the whole day with them and then out to eat with them...(had one margarita), came home, went to bed and woke up because I had a dream that he was holding me and I had my face in his neck with my eyes closed and with my arms wrapped around him and we were dancing...it felt soooo nice in my dream. I thought it was real...and then I woke up. I still felt nice for about a second and then realized..it was a dream. I don't want him back. I will NEVER ever go back. So why the dream?

Maybe your subconscious is throwing up scenarios for you to deal with to get it so you have a plan in place for any eventuality. Or maybe you just needed the love and remembered the good times in your dream. I have heard that things are never what they appear in dreams so maybe he was just a representation of something else you want.
I hate to say this but your probably (secretly) missing him. Your minds probably thinking of the old fun memories you two had together, and they say, you dream about the things you think about right before you go to sleep, so stop thinking about him so much and think how happy your going to be.
I read somewhere that our dreams tell us how we \"want\" ourselves to be. Maybe it was just a reflection of the kind and caring person you are. It could also be how you wanted things to turn out. I also read the \"other\" person in our dreams is usually not the person we think it is, which is kinda weird. To prove my point, I remember having a dream when I was around 12 of kissing a girl in my school on the roof of her house. Funny thing was that girl grossed me out in reality and it would\'ve never crossed my mind in a million years. So I know what you mean, lol.
Seems to me, you know you are special, special enough to be loved by someone - just not him - the dream may have been a representation of what you are searching for in your life - what you deserve in your life.
I realized after years of bad relationships - I stayed in them, because they were \"habit forming\", but not healthy - just like smoking, etc. etc.
I hope you continue to move forward - and feel free of the burden this relationship has put on you. Life is too short to be mistreated -
that advice is coming from experience. Take care, love, Deni.
