Wow
I sit here this morning very humbled. I read a journal last night that makes any petty problem I have look like a spec on the wall. I actally feel guilty that I could be as upset as I was over something so small. My wife and I were a team and we will be again. I also read an entry this morning about swallowing your pride and that is exactly what I must do. I do not have any problems that I can't overcome, therefore no right to wine and complain. I am going to take the steps I need to to make my wife and I a team again and work through the problems we do have. Yesterday I attended a meeting that has possibilities of fixing all financial problems, but fixing that problem won't help me if I'm doing it without my best friend whom I owe my life (literally) and have often forgotten. As the saying goes no matter how dark your life is there is always someone who is succeeding at pulling themselves out of a much worse situation, and that is excatly what I have found. After we get into a rut we tend to stay there spinning our tires until we are so deep that we can't see the way out. The way out is right in front of our nose, call a tow truck. Find that person that will pull you out of that rut. Help is all around us, sometimes foolish Pride blinds us and we can't or won't accept the help that is right there, waiting for us to accept. My problem is that I tend to return to the foolish pride time and time again, refusing to look for the help that is right here let alone accept it. We will all have hurdles to jump in our lives, the human part is that sometmes we don't reckognize the helpĀ and guidance that is all over the place. All we have to do is accept it.
