Drama

No time at all as so much drama.  The elopement got cancelled on Tuesday.  Was the girl's idea, and she got cold feet.  My son is so so angry with her.  It is sad.  I tried to tell him the whole time it wasn't what she wanted.  Not quite sure why she came up with the idea.   Her parents were major jerks about the whole thing.  I told them I did not think it was a good idea, they were moving too fast, but if it was what they both thought was right then I would support them.  Her parents went on and on with horror stories of what would happen to them if they eloped and how they would break up and her mom on how unhappy she was in her marriage because of one of her husband's habits that my son also has.   They told her they couldn't sleep any more and how they didn't know where they went wrong with her.
My son has demanded she move out or they are through.   I don't think all her problems were the parents harping.  I think they just brought out her fears farther.  Anyway she has no where to go so asked if she could move in with me.   Ugh.  But what could I do.   Hopefully she won't be with us long while she looks for a job near my son and moves in with some friends of his.  Right now the commute is too long.
I do like this girl, but living with her is a bad idea.  You find out too much about the other people's habits and quirks and sometimes resentment develops.  I don't want the girl to stop liking us or us her.  Pray it is short.
