Sigh

So going to Comic Con today.  Went for a bit last night, but everyone was late and so only got in 45 minutes before it closed.  What a waste of time.  Today is supposed to be the busiest.  Great.  7 hours in crowds of people, just walking around looking at each other. 
This was for youngest son.  He wanted this.  Sewed 4 costumes, getting his girlfriend too.  And he looks at me this morning and says he is not going to have a good time today.  Umm......
He is scheduled to work today.  8-11am.  Con starts at 10am, but we are picking him up from work so will be there by noon, only missing 2 hours of it.  But it has ruined his whole day.  And now apparently everyone else who is doing this with him, which grew to include his oldest brother and his fiancé.
He is such a selfish jerk.  Just don't get it.  Where did my sweet little boy go?  Who is this person who is so bitter and no matter how much you give he gives nothing back.  You work and work to make him happy and if one little thing isn't right with him he just turns into this sullen creature.   I agree it stinks he has to work at all and he asked his boss if he could get the day off and the guy said no, but geez we are missing the event too.  In fact I paid extra so we could get in early before the general admission and now have to wait for him, but you don't see me having a fit.
Don't really know what to do with his girl either if we run into her dad.  Know he will be there today and she can't be around him.   No clue what to say or do.
Sigh.  It has been such a long week.  Even with the holiday I clocked 44 hours working.   Would be nice to just sit in the house and read a book all day or at least work on my lesson plans for next week which aren't done or even started.  Guess I will go walk around in a too tight dress for hours as I gained weight instead of lost it.  Hope I can still breathe in it.  Going to be a long one.
