Day 3

Tuesday and I am still wigging out.
Up since 3:30am as my hubby got up to use the bathroom and when he opened the door the room flooded with light.  Youngest son still up talking to girlfriend.  Ugh.   Took 3 days off work as said he needed to recover from car accident by all he has done is stay up late.  You'd think sleep would be good for recovery, but I am old.
So I am laying in bed stressing about the fact that he was awake and not getting enough sleep.  He is 18, is off work today and is just going to laze around.  So stupid, but can I stop no.  So got up at 5am to get ready for work.
I am a pretty logically person and I hate it w hen my emotions get so out of control.  I can like split myself in two and the one part of me stand there just shaking its head at the other part saying get a grip you are so out of control, but there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to knock some common sense back into the other half.
I have always had a bit of a problem with this, but the last few years have just gotten ridiculous.  I have figured out I do much better when I am not working.  Makes me think the decision I made to not be management any more was a good thing.  Won't know of course until January.  Could be giving up the control to someone else just increases the stress levels.
Ok I really need to pull myself together.  I have to go to work and train 3 new people today.  What fun.  At least I get off early so maybe can get a little "me" time in and hopefully calm down.

Home and youngest son not really speaking to me as I asked him why he was staying up until dawn and that I thought he should go to bed (this was at 3:30am when I found him up). Hubby has school tonight. So much for enjoying getting off early.

My kids have been staying up late at night too lately.mostly the 17 year old.It upsets me because he has to work sometimes the next day.He is up talking to his girlfriend. The next morning ,he looks and feels like hell from no sleep. He still has his senior year to get thru and i hope this new gf doesnt ruin it for him.So i completely understand your concerns for your son.And it keeps me up at night too!
