walking

Son didn't getup for work this morning.  Looked to see and he was up talking to girlfriend until 1am.  Worried that might happen.  But unfortunately I saw a piece of their conversation and he is saying can't be around her dad any more.  Sigh.  That is what I asked him the other day if this was going to cause problems with the dad and he said no, he just was going to continue to not really talk to him.  Now he is saying he is going to quit the group or rather try to destroy the group and create his own where the dad is not welcome.  Oh great.  My oldest son and his girlfriend belong to the group too.  As do myself and my husband and our middle son we just talked his girl into at least trying the group.  I hope this is just talk as I get it, but afraid he is going to feel betrayed if we all keep going when the dad is there and don't just up and quit with him.
I was so upset and freaked out.  Wish I had not looked to see what time he went to bed.  But started walking with a friend this morning two days a week.  Sure was nice.  I am still a little upset, but the panic attack I was having has calmed to just a normal worrying mode.  I hate the panic attacks and always overeat.  Came home and walked past the cookies on the counter.  Think if I hadn't walked I would hae eaten the whole package by now.  Really need more friends and more time with them.  Helps so much.

Sounds complicated ,the group and the gf\'s father being there.A tough situation to be in...I hope you can keep walking and enjoy the benefits of it.I agree that normal worry is easier then panic attacks.I\'m
having the same problem with eating to control anxiety..Its so hard.
