Another migraine day. I lay in bed thinking I can't do another day. I had to take a vicodin in the middle of the night. Finally I got up to take an imitrex...thank you god for imitrex...and a vicodin. The nausea is awful. I cut out all supplements, stopped the antibiotics, cut out fat and dairy from my diet. I might just have gallbladderissues along iwth everything else so I'm making sure my diet doesn't exascerbate the nausea. A new migraine book is out and the author will be here Oct 7 - she talks about the Migraine Brain and how our brains are extra sensitive to triggers - YEP - that's my experience. It's a real problem that my trigger is feeling trapped by incompetence. Physically trapped - airplanes, listening to the bad sermon, witnessing a mean spirited person and not being able to help...or going into a client and realizing the leader is a phony - any of these things put me over the edge. I am going to have to start meditating daily and stop the newspaper. hey, if I can cut out fat and dairy, if I can spend THOUSANDS on meds, then I can meditate on a daily basis. I'm doing it. starting today.
