BAD BAD DAY..maybe I tried to do too much?  I started having pain yesterday afternoon - it took one...then another half vicodin to bear it.  Toon one when the first wore off 4 hours later.  By one a.m. I was awakened by a horrible migraine and pain all over my body.  I took an imitrex and one and a half vicodin - no messing around - and I ate something and meditated instead of a valium. It worked.  Part of the pain issue is that my whole body tenses up as a response to the pain.  It is like a flinching response that last for days.  Anyway, I'm proud of my ability to meditate myself into relaxation without using valium.  I can't always do it.  Sometimes it is just too late.  I also think the additional Lamictal helps.  My swing to panic is slowed down maybe.  whatever, I stuck with it and finally slept.  I woke up in pain, took one vicodin and coffee.  The nausea forces me to take FOREVER for breakfast.  Eating, drinking that potion and taking the pills without throwing it all up again..well, it takes patience.  Oh and I fixed myself eggs, cheese and torillas - so I could have a treat for the discipline.  Yogurt and fruit are my daily fare - but on days like this I fix myself a yummy hot breakfast to keep the nausea at bay. So...not such great news. Tues 3 and 1/2Wed so far one...

I am so sorry to hear how bad you feel. We are in the aftermath of Ike and for the time we went through the storm the Lord gave me strength to endure the last few days. Today I woke up with pain and my oxygen level is low. I guess I was just hyped during the storm. Praying for strength to make it through the rest of the week and praying for you for the same. Love and Prayers, Berta
