Update

Still haven't started exercising. Still sneaking ciggies.  Wanting to eat only Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk, nothing else seems to do.
It's been an interesting week for me.   They are building the West Side Corridor right alongside my house.  We've been hoping they take our house, but of course they took all the houses right up to ours.  I'm trying to remain optimistic.
As the neighbors move out I've been pillaging their flower gardens and such.  On Tuesday I was watering my front garden and a good looking man came up to me and said he noticed the Alarm Company sign in my yard.   He said, "I don't show you on our client list", how embarrassing.  I had pillaged it.  I said I believe it belonged to the previous owners (I've lived here 15 years) he looked quizzical, I asked him if I should take it down, he said that the company had actually been bought out by another company so the sign was obsolete.  OKay....so he left, I pulled it up and put it in the garbage.
Same day.....along about 7pm a man shows up with two adorable little kids with a pack of Indian Paintbrush.  The kids had helped themselves to my front garden.  I didn't even notice, the two of them looked all sullen with trowels in their hands.  Too freaking cute!  Anyway, I guess it's God talking.  No more pillaging for me.  I wonder if it counts if my SIL does it for me?

i\'d have kept the sign, if its obsolete the company isn\'t going to care and alarm companies is a commission job, the guy won\'t care either, not really. he\'d probably have asked you if you want a free alarm system install if he was a smoother talker (maybe he\'ll be back?) and then its $30 per month to have it monitored. you handled it well though, previous owner. love it. i used to work for one of those companies and have been toying with returning. they have some BEAUTIFUL systems that film whoever comes in the front door as well, i couldn\'t believe it. (is film the right word nowadays? boy am i old. lol.)

you didn\'t stop the kids from digging up your garden? if the person is moved out and they are going to be running the property over anyway, taking plants is a RESCUE, you are rescuing the living thing. going over to someone\'s HOME where they are still living and digging things up is vandalism and tresspassing and petty theft. its a whole other thing. what kind of plants did the children take and did the man say WHY they were in your garden?

how are you? xxoo

I wonder if re the exercising & smoking issue-maybe you need to spend some quiet meditation time listening to what your body really wants you to do and/or where it wants you to strive to be in life. It\'s possible it might help sort things out on many levels.
In todays world it really can help I think when a security company sign is seen on a property because people say that thiefs & such will usually look for the easiest place to access & it could be quite a deterrent.
Lets hope those kids can take this event as an important lesson for their future.
