I came across this poem during my first treatment. It was sitting on a desk with other pamphlets and information at an abandoned nursing station at one end of the wing down by the rec room. I brought a copy of it home that week and framed it.
I recently found it on a Rubber stamp and have made several cards using it, adding a yellow ribbon to them for Cancer support. I did do a few in pink as well for one friend. Embossed some, and stamped others.. but I digress..
What Cancer Cannot Do
Cancer is so limited...
It cannot cripple love
It cannot shatter hope
It cannot corrode faith
It cannot destroy peace
It cannot kill friendship
It cannot suppress memories
It cannot silence courage
It cannot invade the soul
It cannot steal eternal life
It cannot conquer the spirit.
