It's hard to believe that since I'm just the grandmother, that I'm having a hard time.  I did watch him everyday after work and on Saturdays so I guess he was just like my own.  I just hate being alone.  That's when I really miss James.  I hung a shelf display with pictures and put some of his toys on it.  I think it makes me sadder, but I can't take it down.  My other grandchildren would probably ask too many questions.  They seem to be able to cope better than me and enjoys the shelf.

I know for a fact that my mum went through exactly the same as you - she still does - as she says to my brother - she feels the pain for losing Matthew (her grandson) and the pain that I am feeling too - if you need to talk I am here - for your daughter also, Jo, x

My son is very close to his grandma, my mother in law who lives with us. If we lost him, I know she\'d be just as devastated. I don\'t think you\'re \"just\" the grandmother, you\'re family and you were with James every day. My heart aches for your loss, it truly does. Love and angel hugs to your precious little grandson and prayers for comfort for your whole family. Please know that I\'m thinking of all of you.
