Boy today was one heck of a roller coaster ride. Woke up and felt not so good decided I wasn't up to swimming this morning. I called one of my swim friends to say that I was bailing. Linda did the guilt thing and talked me into going. While getting ready to go I found myself sitting on the edge of my bed sobbing thinking "I can't keep doing this". That lasted about 5 minutes then felt much better. Thanks to this board I have seen that others have times like this so I didn't freak too much, but YIKES I'm a big boy and this isn't me. Made it for the swim in the ocean and was glad I did. Was ok as long as I was horizontal and kept moving. When I stopped to wait for the others my stomach was quesey. Ocean was very flat with no swell so had nothing to do with it being too choppy. Had to tell them sorry for being rude but I needed to keep moving. Felt a bit weak but as long as I kept my arms and legs moving and not in a hurry I felt pretty good. Afterwards was glad that I did go since it seems to help the aches and pains.
On the way home noticed that the cruise ship that I was going to go on for my vacation was in port - it reminded me that this is the day that my cruise would have ended. That was kind of a weird moment but luckily it didn't last long. Well I'm AM on an adventure afterall... just an adventure of a different kind.
Stomach did much better today than yesterday. Ate oatmeal with my morning meds. Kept snacking each time there was a twinge of quesey. Grilled a burger for dinner that tasted great, might be a mistake for my stomach but so far so good..... time will tell.
Felt more relaxed this afternoon than I have in the past couple weeks. Maybe the sobbing episode this morning was a good thing in the long run. Feel like I might be able to sleep tonight without sleeping meds which would be a first since starting treatment.
If anyone read this without falling to sleep hope your weekend has been good and you are feeling good or at least ok.

Swimguy, just readind some of your comments inspire me to do better. That feeling real emotional had me stomped for awhile. Now I know that it passes and we keep moving on. Thanks again fro your encouragement. Tim
Swimguy! ahhhh....you are one of us! yes, I call my episodes T-parties, short (or something) for pity parties. We need that tho, sometimes we feel so un-understood (is that a word?I didn\'t mean misunderstood). I am thrilled you have a good friend who pushed you- I need one of those or I\'ll just sit and do nothing. That\'s why work is goo for me. We cruise alot too. What ship were you going on? to wher, pls share! (poet now?)
