Today was a very sad day, I had to put one of my favorite dogs to sleep. She was fine a few days ago and boom! next thing she is throwing up and won't eat. She got a bug that infected her kidneys and shut them down. You really don't know just how hard it is untill you come to the decision to put them to sleep with digniy or be selfish and keep them around for a few morr days in pain. I chose to give her dignity and loose a wonderful friend whom I have come to love over the last few years. Hell I loved her more than my W for gods sake. I know that sounds wierd but she gave me unconditional love and I gave it back to her. I will miss her soo much, you never know what every day will bring....Sucks but as they say life goes on..just a little more painful for a while. Sorry for the pitty party...

JERRY .. SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR DOG ... IT IS SO SAD WHEN WE LOSE OUR PETS .. SOMETIMES THEY CAN REPLACE AND FILL THE VOID WE NEED IN OUR LIVES .... I KNOW THAT SHE CAN NEVER BE REPLACED, BUT MAYBE IN A FEW WEEKS, YOU CAN ADOPT ANOTHER ONE, AND GIVE THEM THE LOVING , NURTURING HOME IT NEEDS, ALONG WITH THE JOY AND HAPPINESS THIS ANIMAL WILL GIVE BACK TO YOU IN SPADES !! Yes, they are your friends and your family, the decision to put one to sleep and the reality of knowing you will never see them again. Sometimes is so overwhelming it can get to you. We have one dog left and she is old also so I am going to make sure she has a wonderful life even with out her friend she has been with for the last 6 years.
Sorry again, my friend. You know I know how you\'re feeling after just losing my little bunny giril, and yes, it\'s hard to let go, but you know you did the right thing for her. I\'m glad my bunny went fast. That\'s the only real relief I got out of all this. Just knowing she didn\'t suffer for long.
