It has been a while since I have written, things have calmed down considerably since I quit badgering my wife with questions. I have come to the conclusion that if we are to stay together we needed to not forget what happened but not to fester on the issue all the time. This is difficult at times since I still have some questions in my mind as to the affair, but during one of our therapy sessions the therapist told me if I couldn’t let go of the anger the marriage was over. So for now I am living in the here and now not in the past or future just today. We went on a mini vacation together and we enjoyed each others company a lot. We didn’t have any particular plans, just a lot of thing we could do together, like horse back riding, and doing the tourist thing in Louisville KY. Only time will tell if we will stay together, I know she said to the therapist that she loves me and wants the marriage to work. So I will stay and see where this train stops, all aboard :)

i completey hear ya considering my situation. i am glad things are getting better. it really is hard to let go of anger. one can forgive, but forgetting is much harder!!!
I will never forget but the forgive is getting better
I still have questions. How can you move forward if you still have them? They will haunt you won\'t they? I\'m still full of anger, bitterness and resentment. It just won\'t go away.
