Hi all,

Seems like I already wrote this journal entry, but I don't see it in my own list.

My wife did her second shot last night and was a real trouper about it. She knew she was going to feel like crap after doing it and bucked up and did it anyway. I'm real proud of her!!

She is doing two shots each monday, Pegasus and Procrid (red blood builder).

We followed the advice of all of you wonderful people that told her to take Ibuprofin and drink losts of fluid right after.

We got her some Zofran because the first shot was so rough and added that to the mix of stuff you all offered, she did her shot and had a baked potato for dinner right after.

Guess what? Get got Leg crapms and THATS IT!

She slept late today (noon) and is now up, she is still tired but has none of the flu symptoms she had after the first shot.

I learned that a damaged liver is likely not to process lots of red meat well, and a build up of amonia can cause mental problems (comprehension, concentration, etc).

So we had her tested and guess what? Really high levels, so the Doctor has called in a perscription for her to take to reduce it.

Hoping for the best here, not if they could only give me a pill for my spelling!

Thanks friends for your input. It's helping and giving us both not only hope, but courage.
