Ok, now for Wednesday.
Hooray! It was a good day overall for her, while a bit stressful for me in managing a number of different items, she got up and was just slightly nauseas.
I got up, worked, then took her to her Primary care doctors Apt. We discussed the Nausia and other side effects and she not has meds to control that so she is much more comfortable about the next shots coming up Monday. We can have her on the Nausia meds (along with the suggestions from people her to minimize them) then came home and took a nap as I was exhausted after doing work and all the home chores for both her and I while supporting her through the day Tuesday.
In addition, when we got home from the Dr. Apt, the county animal control people showed up at the house. I have 4 border collies and we recently had an a$$ move in across the street who thinks he purchased the neighborhood when he purchased the home. He had filed a complaint for dog at large, claiming that my dogs were out unsupervised in the front yard Tuesday. This was a blatant lie on his part as I never let the dogs out front without my direct supervision.
Just so all know, I am in training with my dogs for competition herding, so they get extended weekly training, the two oldest are AKC Good citizen certified and licensed, and I am actively looking for a class in range that we can attend to turn them into therapy dogs for elders and pediatrics. I say this so people realize I just dont have 4 crazy, out of control dogs, all of them are highly trained and obedient. Im known as the local dog whisperer at the dog park we go to as Ive helped so many other there with behavior problems.
The visit with animal control went quite well and after meeting my dogs, she said they were sorry I had such a neighbor. This guy is of the opinion that dogs should not come out unless they are leashed. I can only assume this because his dog must be leased at all times, he has a rat terrier that lunges and tries to attach everything it sees.
Its too bad this guy feels this way as that is not the law and the neighborhood I live in is quite dog friendly and we all meet out front in the evenings to exercise our dogs and visit. Everyone in the neighborhood is dedicated not to changing their behaviors as he knew about the dogs when he bought and is quite unreasonable in his approach to everyone. Up to the point that my immediate neighbor is considering filing a restraining order on him to keep him off of her property after being accosted at her front door.
It was just one more stress I didnt need yesterday.
Then I got up and went to a training class on the treatment of her Hep C to stay up to date on stuff and refresh myself. I attended the same class in December, but as it took two months to get insurance approval, I was a bit worn out by the end.
Two doses of Riboviren down now and no side effects as of yet.
Oh, one last note, I didnt have a valentines day card for her yesterday morning (Im a last min person on that type of thing), and I feel a bit put out about the whole thing. Shes the type that feels this is important, I did get her one at 9pm (my first opportunity), had I not, I would have been beaten up for months on it, personally, I feel like I should get some slack. Its like stuff done to support her dosent count and shes not loved unless she gets a stupid card. Never mind all the sacrifices Ive made over the years to accommodate her health, I dont do a lot of things I love because she cant keep up.
So, I share Morpheuss view on Valentines Day. Anybody ever thought about the acronym for Valentines Day?
