Hey guys. Sorry I haven't been on here in a while. Court was an all morning affair and nothing was accomplished. We never even got in to see the commissioner! It was continued. David came home a few days later after court and the first week was a complete angel. (Why doesn't that surprise me?) He made his bed. He watched tv with us. He cleaned his bathroom. He showered. He helped out around the house. All of a sudden that was all gone and for the most part he went right back to his old self. No huge outbursts thank God. But in my mind, just a matter of time.
The kid needs a major reality check. He blames us for everything. Our fault he has to go to court and says we lied. Ugh! He is pissy because he says he has no Summer. WTH does he think is his Summer?! Sitting and playing video games, eating and sleeping 24/7 until school starts?! Yup! Oh hell no! He keeps taking off all of the time. Today he blew off his mentor.
Work has been rough due to the many storm claims we have had, trees falling on houses and power lines. I am actually handling one fire where the house was directly hit by lightning. Plus, we are short handed. 2 coworkers retired 5/31 with no replacement in site. 1 coworker is on "temporary" assignment for 2 years so they have to leave his spot open. Plus vacations in the Summer.
On top of that, court is continued to Wednesday, 7/3 but I do not have to go. Will be every 4-6 weeks of follow up!
We must have 6+ hrs of counseling sessions with various people throughout the week, plus filling out forms, emails, phone calls. I cannot keep blowing off work.
DFS closed it's case. If this gets any worse, we are put on a child abuse list where we have to register. I volunteer at Church and have for 11 years! All because David keeps doing this shit! I could be blocked from volunteering at Church around kids! All he sees is how this affects him and not how it affects anyone else. He sits and blasts the tv with that garbage screaming music and I am working from home. I tell him to turn it down and it becomes a pissing contest. So parental controls are in order and he will have to have me put a PIN in to watch tv now. I am SO done having control issues with a 16 year old.
Anyway, I am still here. Up to 174.5 lbs. My highest ever. I feel really awful. I have 2 pairs of jeans and 2 pairs of shorts that barely fit. Oh, and to add insult to injury, TOM is due to start today and I am cranky and crampy. Have had sort of hot flashes off and on and anxiety attacks (minor but uncomfortable) for last 2 weeks as well. I haven't had bad psoriasis flares ups since I was a teenager but my elbows and scalp have really bad itchy bumps. Guess its the stress and hormones?
all 3 puppies are my joy! Trying to convince Paul that my baby Jack needs to stay with us.

Top photo is Jack with his legs draped over Remmy and bottom photo is Kona and Jack. Kona and Jack really get along well together as they are older and calmer.
I am sorry that nothing has really change with David.
How could you give up Jack! If you can\'t keep him I just might have to take him.
All this is such a shame.
I can\'t believe what you have been threw
I love the picture of the dogs. they are so sweet.
I\'m sorry that things haven\'t improved. I keep praying for your family. Your dogs are beautiful. If Joyce doesn\'t take Jack, then I will. : )
What about headphones for the loud sounds?
I hope you and Paul do not have to register and are labeled abusive in such a way -- how awful that would be.
I\'m so glad the dogs are your comfort and joy -- we very much need this in life to balance it all out.
((hugs))
Hey, Yvette! For a long time I kept checking for an update and giving you hugs. I figured I\'d hear from you when you got back. But now I see a July 1 journal. Anyhow, it\'s a relief you haven\'t had a nervous breakdown and are still coping with all the s---. You know we love you!
Always with you. Try, try to keep hope alive. I KNOW that it is hard! But remember I also hope and pray and stay in faith for you! God bless you and!! God bless David with peace and deliver him from all the \"bad stuff.\"
I\'m so glad you posted. I know you are in people\'s prayers.
I hope you can take some time for yourself...somehow...sometime.
If you two have to register that would be unjust. You have done everything a parent can do.
