Good & Bad

Well, I think it may be time to go back on the Lexapro.  Going to call the Dr tomorrow.  Waves of depression/anxiety tonight again.  Was fine most of the day then it just hits me!  And I know a lot of it is hormonal and some stress.  I am also getting this tingling feeling all over and tremors.  Back on the menopause support group again.  Yup!  Got all of the symptoms.  I am beyond uncomfortable.
This transport with Buddy is not looking good at all.  1)  no word from driver that it is even still confirmed for 12/15.  2)  Assuming it is, I have to drive Buddy 1 1/2 hrs North of here to put him in the crate.  He would then drive 12 hrs nonstop to Knoxville TN.  No potty stops.  These people will NOT take him out of the crate.  3)  The adopters have to drive almost 4 hrs to get him out of the crate.  The transport will not give him additional sedatives during the trip.  I am so afraid of what this will do to Buddy.  I know that J & E have already sent in their donation for Buddy.  I am sure they will be heartbroken and I am sure that the rescue would give them their money back.  The thing is, J & E are young, big fenced in yard, another English Setter to play with, and they are very knowledgeable about training ES's.  But what happens if buddy is traumatized worse?
Sean, the original guy a couple of months ago who wanted Buddy, stopped by today.  He is still interested.  But he doesn't want to pay the $365 donation to the rescue.  He thinks that is too much money.  (I paid $350 for Kona and $250 for Remmy.)  The rescue is a nonprofit.  the donation pays for pull fees, medical care, etc for the dogs in their rescue.  Ugh!  I feel caught in the middle.  And Paul is refusing to drive now up to Allentown. I can't change what the rescue charges and I can't change the transport service!
My blackberry is "dead."  Must stay plugged in.  Trying to get it replaced soon.  It is way over due.  Buying a new cell phone for me is like buying new glasses.  Fun and a pain in the butt at the same time trying to find the right fit.
Took a Lexapro tonight.  Just can't take it anymore.

Hi Kahlua! I definitely think you are on the right track with Lexapro! I used to take it and it took a couple of weeks to work for me, but it really helped me with my stress and panic attacks. (I am so sorry that you are experiencing such stress). It will get better for you! I would advise keeping the xanax around until the Lexapro takes effect. I would anyway.
I know you are concerned about Buddy. Bless his heart. I really feel for him. It\'s too bad there isn\'t some nice family close to you. (well, that is willing to pay what the cost is for pete\'s sake).
I hope you find a phone that you like!
Take care and lots of encouragement and love to you!

Hoping the Lexapro helps and also the visit to the Dr.
Holding positive thoughts for Buddy\'s safe transport! Poor guy!

No problem with buying a cell phone here....service is very limited so I just went with a tracfone! But I am so envious of the smart phones...would love to be able to use one!

Just letting you know I am keeping up with your journals! So wish there were something we could do! As for Allentown, my parents were raised there and later in life my dad had a parish in Northampton, a suburb. Allentown, in my opinion, is a backward and depressing place! Best wishes for Buddy.

Good luck with the Lexapro. I hope it helps you. I\'m happy to hear you are doing a support group.
keep us updated about Buddy. It sounds like a lot of money to donate. but if you think about all the expenses the shelters have it\'s really reasonable. If you buy a dog at a store you have to pay 2x that especially if it\'s a pure breed.

take care of yourself
