Hanging in there
Well, I was on my way out the door to go to court this AM. Cell phone rang. Something told me to answer it in spite of the fact that I was on my way out the door. Glad I did. Attorney calling me to say that the public adjuster and the restoration company settled the case over the weekend and the public adjuster is going to make payments to the restoration company. Phew! Got a lot of work done today in spite of the calls and emails. Working from home tomorrow, but have to take Remmy first thing in AM to the vet for his annual exam. (my vet just loves Remmy, but then so does everyone. He is such a big teddy bear!)
I have to go to the liquor store tomorrow to get some wine. Dreading it. I live in Delaware, right on border with Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Delaware alcohol is much cheaper than the other states. So my store, Total Wine and More, gets so crazy this time of year, I will be parking over by the Home Depot! This store is so big you need a map or directions to find what you are looking for! Going to my brother, Rob's house for dinner for Thanksgiving. It will be nice. I love my little niece, Lucia.
Looks like Buddy will be going to his forever home this Saturday. One leg of transport left to be filled! One couple driving him 475 miles one way! Right now he is sleeping in bed with David. I am going to miss him but it will be nice to have a break. Thank God I have him now housebroken. But he is still very puppy-ish. He somehow found and chewed a bottle of Pepto Bismol tablets today! Thank goodness only a few crumbs came out. Don't think he got into the pills inside but EWWW! What a mess! (His tongue would have turned black if he ate the Pepto Bismol.)
I am kind of glad to be working Black Friday. No way do I want to be out there shopping! I am doing most of my shopping on line and have a lot of my Christmas shopping done already.
I can't stand the cold and it getting dark so early. I have felt very depressed the last week or so. Tired. Sad. Bloated. Feel like I am in a bit of a rut. I need to push past this. Hormones off a little? Probably. Not sleeping great either. I think we need to get a new mattress. I have a soft side waterbed, pillowtop. Maybe needs more water, but the pillowtop part on top is kind of sunk in the middle. I sleep on my side and my stomach and right now it is not comfortable to do that.
Weight, still 165 lbs today.

Whoot! Great that you did not have to go to court! I bet that put a huge smile on your face.
I thought I would miss my waterbed when we moved but alas my painful hip quit hurting when we left it behind! So even thought they are some comfy they just might not be the best for us.
I am with you on the cyber shopping....only way to go!
Very few women escape feeling bad during menopause! It\'s rough enough all by itself w/o additional stressors. Try to enjoy Thanksgiving to the max!

hurrah the court date was cancelled and settled out of court. Glad you were able to put the time to good use. I hope that got you caught up a lot.
