Yesterday I burned 1903 calories and ate 1331 calories.  I went from 168.3 lbs yesterday to 168.2 lbs today.  Ha Ha!  Be careful what you wish for!  I wished I would go down at least .1 lbs and that is what I got!  i did 10,029 steps.  I have really been trying to eat healthier choices.  I do need to cut back I think on processed carbs (bread/pasta, etc.)  Hopefully that will help with the bloated feeling.
I didn't feel as blue/blah this morning when I woke up.  My stomach and my body still feel "off."  Kind of like what I went through a few years ago with the gastritis.  and I get a little shaky and dizzy.  Starving like the sugar shakes but feel a little nauseous after I eat.  I just think all of this and the recent hot flashes are just an indication that my hormones are a little off again.  I have also been really tired lately, even fatigued, in spite of sleep.  I do feel better if I really push myself and get exercise.
Paul keeps "stealing" my Kindle to read "Game of Thrones!"  my next book, already purchased and downloaded:  "The Art of Racing in the Rain" by Garth Stein.
I need to get a new vacuum.  I have central vacuum.  It was great when we moved in.  Huge canister in the basement.  Empty 2-3 times per year.  Very quiet.  Plug the hose in any room you need it.  Suction was good.  Disadvantages:  The 50 ft hose is heavy.  no powered beater brush.  (I did purchase the beater brush that is air powered and better than nothing.)  Now, with the kitchen remodel, some hoses got changed around and maybe a leak somewhere as I noticed a decline in suction.  The house is 21 years old, so the unit is 21 years old.  the hoses are starting to crack and so now again, reduced suction.  I could go and replace the hoses for $125+ dollars, but have a feeling that I should probably replace the entire unit due to age.  In the meantime, it would be nice to have a regular vacuum.  When the basement is done, we will need one for down there anyway.  I am thinking of a Dyson animal ball.  Very expensive but very light and easy to use.  And with two dogs, might be worth it.  Anyone have one who can tell me what they love/hate about it?  We inherited an Oreck from Paul's mom and I gave it away.  I hated it.  I don't want to have to deal with vacuum cleaner bags either.  I am wasting my time and energy going back and forth and back and forth and back and forth trying to pick the dog hair up from the carpet!  This house is SO dusty for some reason.  I am hoping to get better at cleaning, getting things back in order.  Hopefully won't be so bad.
I had to turn the air conditioner on today.  Just hot and humid and uncomfortable.  David will be here Sunday.  Paul's sister and brother and law are coming for visit and dinner.  Going to see if my Mom wants to come.  Looking forward to having Monday off.  Going to be cleaning all day tomorrow.  Going up to 89 degrees tomorrow with high humidity.  The traffic going down the shore for the Memorial Day weekend is incredible!  But I do wish I was going.  the beach is going to be incredible.

Wow - I missed this journal altogether when it was first published - DS is sending me alerts that are so old now! I haven\'t noticed this til recently, as DS has always been so reliable with alerts for me in the past. Oh, well. ANYWAY - I ahve a Dyson adn I LOVE it! Never could say that about a vacuum cleaner before, lol. And it\'s not that I like vacuuming. But this vacuum cleaner actually IS better. It just maneuvers around better. I also had to buy a new vacuum cleaner for the business very recently, and was not so particular about that one, but got a Hoover WindTunnel PAWS one (for animal hair), onsale at Kohl\'s, and the gal who uses it at work says it\'s great, for what that\'s worth - I do know it is light years better than the old one we had, lol. Buying a new vacuum is a chore, I know, I have done it twice now in the last year! Anyway, I will try to check in with your journals mroe, you and the rest of my friends, sheesh, DS is just not so reliable anymore! You might not even ever know I made this comment!
