Ugh!

I have no idea what to do with this kid.  His defiance is just horrible.  He doesn't want to clean his room, do his work, do what we say.  He walked out of the movies with Paul this weekend.  Even his "Boys to Men" therapy group on Monday nights he has been beligerant to the counselors and they told him to take a few weeks off.  it is not all the time.  But it is getting old.  This kid needs to appreciate what he has in his life, get over his temper tantrums, get a reality check.  The good news is he is a student teacher at karate now, officially.
Mothers Day was nice.  We went to my brother Sal's with my mom for brunch.  Max is doing a little better.  Seems calmer.  We lost the bowling tournament this past Friday.  We were in 2nd place after the 2nd game and then blew the 3rd game.  My birthday is coming up Monday, 5/23.  47.  Not looking forward to it.  Had to renew my drivers license.  Boy, you should have seen what I had to bring with me:  original birth certificate, license, 2 bills, marriage certificate, social security card, etc.
The fatigue feels a little better.  I have been doing Wii Walk It Out most days.  Food is horrible and I gained a couple more lbs.  Have to get back on track.  I feel awful.  Took a day off this past week and went with my stepsister and stepmom to Lancaster outlets and went shopping.  Very depressing shopping for clothes.  I did buy a couple of new beads for my Brighton necklace and a new pair of Lindsay Phillips sandals.  (you can change the straps to be different colors!)  Paul can give them to me for my birthday.
Dr feels Paul should be on antidepressant meds which he refuses to do.  I am so stuck between Paul's yelling and selfishness and David's anger and defiance.  I am so tired of it.  I don't want to go away on family vacation in July to San Diego.  I don't want to be with them for 2 weeks in a hotel!  I get anxious just thinking about it!  no major anxiety attacks, no need to take Xanax since the trip to NC to pick up Max.
I found this new marinade/sauce at Trader Joe's:  Soyaki sauce.  marinated some chicken and baked it.  It has soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, Ginger, sesame seeds, etc.  Yummy!  I am also now using soy milk for cereal and oatmeal for last couple of days.  someone told me it was good for menopause?
Now for the other drama:  Work!  still getting hammered/buried with work.  I am so tired.  Working OT.  now they re-hire this woman (who is a total bitch) to do my job!!!!  No, I am not losing my job.  There are 5 people who do my job for Eastern PA.  1 is retiring soon.  I had it out a while back with this chick.  OMG, I am so dreading working with her.  I am just going to have to keep my mouth shut.  I don't know how she is going to do this job.  She is SO nasty.  She worked in the office doing thefts and then was some supervisor of the clerical staff for a while and I asked for her help and she was a total bitch and refused.  Then she went out for maternity leave and ultimately quit.  Her husband also works in my office and his father was a manager or something a while back.  So now, not only is she back, but in my unit.  Crap!  I would have hoped she had changed, but was just told by someone in the office to be prepared as she has not.  This has caused quite a stir in the office.  If they give her preferential treatment (ie:  she can't go to the far away claims) I am going to have a fit.  Once Sue retires, I will have seniority in my unit.  (I hit 15 years this week.)  I will not tolerate preferential treatment!
I guess that is it.  Just taking it one day at a time.  Feel very unmotivated.  I did get to read several chapters in my book "Summer at Willow Lake" by Susan Wiggs this past weekend and it was wonderful.  Need to push to get back to "normal."  Have not felt normal for well over a year now and it is getting to me.  Have not been to the Y in a month.
