Just an update
Going to try to get to Zumba today at the Y at 5pm. Frustrated that I only lost 1/2 lb. I am so happy that today is the first day of Spring! My favorite time of the year. Today is also my anniversary, 18 years with hubby. We are just going to have a nice dinner later.
David starts his new group therapy tomorrow, every Monday 4-5pm. They actually pick him up from school and drive him home! Then on Thursdays, he has group therapy 4pm to 5:30pm and one of the parents has to go as well. The kids go in one room and the parents in another and it is a support group. Then there will also be counseling sessions at home and school. I have a lot more hope over this than I have had in a long time. The group is all boys, 14-17. Some foster, some adopted, most with anger issues and ADHD. some are being raised by grandparents. I am really really hoping that this is the answer to my prayers!
I finally finished my book yesterday, "The Passage" by Justin Cronin. This is one that I started last July just before my panic attacks got really bad. It is almost 800 pages long. It was a good book, but the downer is that I just realized it is the first book in a trilogy and it is going to be another 1 1/2 years before I get to see what happens next! Boo! I have struggled mentally to finish it. I haven't spent any time in the sunroom or really read since I quit smoking in July and had these panic attacks. I am going to start reading a Susan Wiggs romance novel today. Try to clean up around the house a little.
I do feel a little tired, a lot under motivated today.
