Quick Update

Paul is still very cranky.  Just nasty, not much nice to say.  No different really but I am doing better at ignoring him and not letting him bring me down.  David has been a little better.  I have been watching the Flyers with the playoffs.  So this is like ever other night with these games.  Also working a lot.  Still getting hammered with new fires.  Got 2 new ones yesterday.
Read 2 romance novels over the long weekend.  Plus I finished "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" last week.  So that was a great escape and relaxing!  Otherwise, did some yard work, cleaned a little.  We went out to dinner Friday night, but it was PACKED, as it was University of Delaware graduation.
I guess I could say, for better or worse, things are back to normal here.  Paul is feeling very bad about himself/his life and so he externalizes that to everyone else.
Oh, FINALLY, after much ado (and many many phone calls and fighting with Sprint), I finally got my Blackberry yesterday!  So that has also kept me busy- trying to get this thing in the first place, getting it activated, etc.
It's been incredibly hot.  I drove to York PA this AM.  BEAUTIFUL drive.  Sunny, blue sky, green trees, crops now coming up.  Beautiful farm land out there, Amish Country.  Elderly couple.  House isn't to the ground but almost.  One wall is ready to collapse and 3 of the rooms on the one side have collapsed to the basement.  He built the house himself.  Full of antiques, family photos, etc.  They lost everything.  It was really hard sitting with them this AM with them and rest of family crying.  Rips my heart out.  Then I left that one and drove to Broomall PA for another fire caused by a faulty dishwasher.
Tomorrow is an office day, and God willing, so is Friday.  I will try to catch up with everyone over the next few days.  Food is not great.  exercise is nonexistent.  I really really really gotta get back on track.  With the busy- ness and the heat, just not there.  And my neck for some reason has been really stiff last few days and not sleeping well.
