Well, I went to the Y tonight.  Watched the first 2 periods of my Flyers game.  They are winning 3-2 right now.  I am on pins and needles!  If we win tonight, we go to the Stanley Cup finals!  I did 3.02 miles, 47 minutes.  No weights.  It was just too crowded and I wanted to get home and watch the rest of the game.
Mom came for dinner yesterday.  Rotisserie chicken, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes.  Oh and vanilla cake for dessert and a glass of white zinfandel.  (Ooohh!  That reminds me!  Got 1/2 bottle left!  I should go have a glass before bed!)
Food last week is not great.  But I am hoping that if I bump up my exercise, my food will get better.  I have a tendency to drink more water and eat better when I get in my exercise.  So that is there I am at right now.  Eating junk food but no McDonalds now for 1 1/2 weeks.  That is a great thing!  I am also eating cereal and oatmeal for breakfast.  So I need to get in more fruits and veggies, tone down the "bad" carbs like bread and pasta, and find a way to stop eating in front of the boob tube at night.  That is a huge challenge for me.  Oh, and the weather has been kind of cold, rainy and blah.  So I am looking for sunny and 82 tomorrow desperately.
Finished reading "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" this morning and downloaded the next one.  Going to read something light for a few days, like a romance, then start the sequel over the weekend.  The first book was great but it was a murder mystery and a little gruesome and heavy at times.  But I can't wait to read the next one.
Birthday was good.  As I said, Mom came for dinner and we watched "Sherlock Holmes" with Robert Downey Jr.  It was a great movie!  Funny, scary, lots of action.  Robert Downey Jr did a great job.  Jude Law was great as Dr. Watson as well.  David got me a Willow Creek figurine from Hallmark (A mother hugging her son!)  Paul went to go buy the Sony laptop and it was sold out.  Oh well.  I still am trying to talk him into letting me go and buy a Blackberry.  It isn't the cost of the Blackberry that upsets him.  It is only $49.99 and my cell is 2 years old.  It is the additional $30/month.   (we don't have texting and web now.)
Oh, and we stayed up and watched the "Lost" finale.  And I got all worked up and for some reason just could not sleep last night at all!

Sounds like you are getting better. I can relate about the eating difficulties! I also agree with not eating in front of the TV, I try and sip on some tea to distract me from eating! Good luck!
