Well, last week had it's good and bad. My exercise was pretty good. Got in my 3x at the Y, walked the dog a couple of days. I am going to try to do a little better this week and really focus on the 10,000 steps a day. I had one day over 12,000 steps but also had 1 day at 2,200 steps! I averaged almost 8300 steps per day for the week, so I will shoot for 10,000. My food this past week was just awful. I ate well yesterday, no real junk food. But the portions were whacky. So I think that is my big focus this week, is to eat better and watch the portions. No weight loss this week. Still at 154 lbs, but I know it was the food intake. Hopefully, lower stress levels this week will help as well. David and Paul went fishing yesterday at Lum's Pond State Park. David caught a snapping turtle and a fish and threw both back in. Then they went to a tag sale and Paul bought an organ! $125 for a Lowery organ. Thank God it is not a really big one, but they put it in David's room. He doesn't know how to play, but it is keeping him busy and out of trouble. Thank God though for volume control! I will have to find some books on how to learn how to play the organ. David is turning out to be very artsy/muscially inclined. My only gripe is bringining in more "stuff" without getting rid of the excess "stuff" we already have! I cleaned all day yesterday. Hopefully, will be moving the furniture back into the sunroom today. Paul decided to sand and stain the windows, which delayed things a little. The progress is frustrating. He painted the trim in my bathroom and ready for 2nd coat. Hopefully, that will be done by tomorrow so I can clean it and start using it again. So we are making progress, but very very slow. And I am stuck with the weight. I want to push myself to really really focus and try this week and try to lose 2 lbs to get me over the hump. My exercise this week: 270 mins total (cardio, weights, stretching, etc.) My goal for this week is 370 mins. (At least 30-35 mins per day of walking or cardio). My steps for this week: 58,521 which is an average of 8,360 per day. I want to try to get to 70,000 for next week.
