Did great on my steps this week! 78,740 total steps, which is an average of 11,249 per day. I would like to repeat this this upcoming week. Trying for 11,000 steps on average per day. I went to the Y 3x this week. I would ike to go 3-4 times this week, although with the upcoming Memorial day holiday, I will be happy with 3x. Also, will try to supplement workouts at home this week on days I do not go to the Y (Wii Fit, exercise videos, walking the dog, Gazelle strider machine, bender ball, etc.) I got in a total of 372 minutes of exercise (YMCA elyptical and treadmill, walking dog, weights, stretching, etc.) I am going to try to repeat that effort as well. I felt really good this week. I had a lot of "cheats" on my food, which I am sure is why I only lost 1 lb. Sunday was mother's day. I made turkey and all the fixings and had a piece of strawberry shortcake and some wine that day. Monday I ate a lot of leftovers, but also went to the jewelry party that night and munched and yes, another piece of that strawberry shortcake when I got home. Tuesday, went shopping with stepmom and stepsister and went out to eat dinner at Cracker Barrel. Friday, went to Lonestar for dinner with husband. Thank God for the exercise! All in all, I was 3 points over for the week on WW, but still managed to lose 1 lb. I only did OK on the water, most days only drining 32 oz. So I am going to try to add another 16 oz per day this week to get to 48 oz. This coming weekend will be another challenge: My birthday is Saturday, and then Memorial day is the following Monday. So I really need to remain focused this week.

Yummm Strawberry shortcake!
You are doing so great with the exercise! What is 3 points at WW in realation to calories? I am sure 3 over for the whole week was not a huge amount.
No, not really. My points range is 21-27 points per day. So max is 189 points per week. I am not sure how this relates to calories. So I got in 192 overall points (after subtracting for exercise.) I would like to get this to about 175 pts this week, an average of 25 pts per day.
1-2 pounds a week is a safe and recommended rate, so it\'s alllll good. And yes, focus on clean healthy eating for this week, but don\'t deprive yourself if you do need a treat. Everything in moderation. You are doing so great. I\'m glad you are keeping close to your recommended points range and that you are so focused on exercise. No point in losing weight without being strong and healthy while you do it. So good job and good for you!!
Jim\'s mom made me a strawberry cake for my birthday last Friday - yummy! I hope you have a great birthday and a great Memorial Day weekend. Great job on your exercise. Keep it up! Hope the boys are good and work isn\'t too crazy for ya!
