Well, still not back up to my 10,000 steps a day (on average).  Mainly due to a few "bad" days this week.  The days I did exercise, I was over 11,000 steps.  Bitterly cold weather preventing me from taking the dog out for walks (that wind chill literally takes my breath away).  I would do my 30 min exercise and then walk the dog 30 min every night, which usually got me over the 10,000 steps.  So now in the meantime, I will have to find other ways to pick up the extra steps.  Trying to stay on the treadmill 35-45 min instead of 30.  Weight loss continues, but slow.  Frustratingly slow.  Painfully slow.  Not giving up, just venting.

So hard in the winter when we can\'t get outside! I yearn for it. A town about 12 miles away has the greatest walking trails. I hesitate to use them in the winter due to the ice. The treadmill gets boring and it is a fight to make myself get on it. We need to stay strong.
There I joined your vent, I feel a bit better!

Ha ha JoyceM always makes me laugh. I have to do 10,000 steps a day as well, and have been falling short lately too with the bitterly cold weather. I\'m going to check in with you every day via hugbook with my steps #s, and ask you yours too, so beware, badgering Laura is on the war path. I too am joining in on the venting - it\'s HARD and FRUSTRATING boo!! but we shall persevere

I can\'t imagine the weather so cold you can\'t go outside, just doesn\'t happen here- don\'t be discouraged you\'ll get there, you are doing a fantastic job and the slower the weight comes off the better - it\'s more likely to stay off so you\'ll be trim and terrific forever. Keep up the good work - love Josephine.

Yep, just don\'t give up. I think your doing great. I do get frustrated too, it\'s normal cuz we want the results and we want to see results now, :) It takes time and you will get there. Just do your best, get in the exercise when you can. Yeah, I hate this cold weather, I can\'t wait for spring to get outdoors too. I\'m with ya on that. Take care and keep it up, never give up and just keep on going to keep you busy and on track! Big Hugs, xxxxx Kathy
