Frustrated with myself.  I did not eat well this week at all.  Still lost 1/2 lb but it should have been more.  Gotta get through next two weeks and then really buckle down.  This week is Christmas.  Saturday I am going to my Dad's in Florida for a week.  We go out to eat dinner a lot while I am there.  But I know I will be able to exercise a lot too.  So like I said, hope to lose a lb or two over the next two weeks and then really buckle down when I get back.

Sounds like fun going to Florida for a few warm days. Enjoy, do the best you can and you will be ready to get back on track after the holidays.

Know you can do it! Congrats on the 1/2 lb! That\'s what you needed to give you a little more motivation. Hope you have a great trip! Have to be super excited! Don\'t give up ~ but know what you mean, I was doing good and then I eat 1 thing bad and then wammo want more or feel like it\'s the end of the world, I have to remind my self it\'s ok as long as it\'s in moderation and not overboard. One step at a time right, we are too hard on ourselves but that\'s what keeps us going and not giving up! Hugs, Kathy

WOOHOO!!! :) And you thought you had poss gained! This is triumphant!!! Celebrate this girl! Stop saying \"it should have been more\"!!! :/
Here\'s another helpful hint: Remember to eat a little something healthy \"before\" you go out to eat! And...Don\'t get the breads, or chips, they offer beforehand! Drink a glass of water before you are going to eat as well!
Lastly, you can ask them before the meal comes out, to put half of it in a container for you...that way you won\'t be tempted to eat it.:)
The half meal is one I have been using myself...and I think it\'s helping...me anyway!
I still will eat the desserts too (just half)!
Oh, and don\'t forget the new pants!!! ;)

That\'s a good idea- put 1/2 food in container up front. Never thought of that. I am also thinking of opting for soup before dinner, ie: minestrone. That fills me up too. I will try to not eat bread or limit myself to 1 piece. I am also going to try to eat better things- more veggies, etc.

If you can handle salad (I can\'t cuz of my tummy)...but if you can, then you might have a good sixe one...w/out croutons and have your dressing on the side (to dip into)...make sure they don\'t put cheese on it either! :/ (my weakness)!
And seriously...the \"bread\" is where a lot of the probs can start! If you can \"go w/out\" do! And have a \"little\" dessert instead!
More vegies is good! With a little bit of butter (the real stuff). Go for twice the vegies and no potato! If you can (I know that is a tough one for me)! Remember the snack B4 leaving (a healthy treat), and a glass of water B4 eating...
IDK if you are aware that \"diet\" drinks actually make you crave more... I used to drink them too! Try water or tea (no sugar)..or use a natural sweetener called \"stevia\"!
