Bad week this week. Too much stress, too much temptation. And the blahs are hitting me. This is when I have to fight to keep going and get myself over the hump. I knew that change would be hard. I expected it to take a while. I guess I just didn't think it would be this hard. That light at the end of the tunnel just seems farther away than I originally thought. I ate not so good this week. Not horrible, but no where close to what I should have done. I did exercise almost every day. But I feel really fat today. And I am frustrated. I had not really had fast food since I started 5 weeks ago except for pizza. I stopped Thursday at Chik Fil A and had a chicken sandwich and fries and diet lemonade. Last night I went to a Christmas party at bowling (I am in a league Friday nights and and Sunday nights.) I ate a roast beef sandwich and some fruit and a piece of fudge. So this is not horrible, but not great. I am craving, craving, craving all week. I am craving cigarettes this week as bad as February. I really thought I was beginning to get over them. It is almost a year. But this week was bad. And then I turn to food. This is what happened to me really the beginning of the year. I joined the Y in Januray and quit smoking but ate like crazy and gained another pound anyway. And everyone says be glad I only gained 1! So I can't give up. I cannot go backwards. I don't think I lost anything this week and that is gonna kill me tomorrow. This week is Christmas. And then Saturday I leave for my Dad's in Florida. So I have to really survive the next two weeks. Have to keep up with the exercise. Oh well. Gotta go put the lights on the Christmas tree. Maybe go shopping tomorrow. Maybe that will help put me in a better frame of mind. Really wanted to fit in those size 12 jeans by Christmas and looks like that is not going to happen. I am so frustrated!

You\'re right - keep up the exercise. Above all, keep that going, so that you have a little breathing room and some time for yourself, and so that you can feel strong and healthy. You can do this, and you can keep going forward. These holidays are a tough time, so let\'s get through them, and stick to the plan as much as possible. You\'re doing so amazingly great.
This is the hardest time of the whole freeking year! The goodies are everywhere! I do not know why we have to give everyone food to celebrate, BUT we do! I think all we can do right now is survive. Come January we will continue our journey, for right now we just survive!
hey girl!
\"12\" is just a number!!! Try not to sabatoge yourself by saying you will not make it! It will come...just try to stay positive! I know how you feel too! I am with you on this! Set your goals realistically...(I don\'t know that you didn\'t...am just saying), and then it\'s just \"when\" you reach them...not \"if\"!!! :)
You are doing so great on the \"steps\" for sure!!!
How about just understanding that there are just too many stinkin goodies out there right now...and enjoy \"just a little\"! Don\'t beat yourself up for this... Sides how many people diet or can restrain themselves from eating the \"goodies\" round this time?
If you notice, most start \"after\" the 1st (or on) hahaha
I\'m with JoyceMarilyn, just \"survive\" LOL That is no joke!!! :/
And go out and buy yourself a \"new\" pair of \"hot\" lookin jeans...or slacks...whatever your preference! :) And just feel great about \"who\" you are...not what \"size\" you are!!! :)
And I\'m sure you know this, but if you go for a darker pair...they make one look smaller...:)
(((((((HUGE HUGS)))))))
I cannot wait for the hot looking jeans! Hence the impatience! But my birthday is in May. So that is my goal. Hot lookin\' jeans, here I come!
Mayyyyy??? Well then get something else for yourself!!! You deserve it GF!!! :)
