Today is not much better but I guess I am taking things better.  At least no cramps.  Was off of work Monday and Tuesday.  Got 3 new fires on Wednesday.  Got another today.  Feeling very overwhelmed and stressed with work.  This time of the year is especially hard.  Going to people's houses and seeing burned up Christmas trees and people are upset and take it out on me.  It is hard not to take it personal.  David is doing a little better.  At least I got a compliment from the Vice Principal saying how he noticed David was maturing and doing much better in school this year.  So that made me feel good.  And proud!   Now my USB cord to my pedometer is missing.  I seriously think David took it.  Not out of spite or meanness or whatever, but just because he thought it was his or wanted to use it.  My cell phone charger and Jabra headset charger were missing as well (from a drawer I always keep them in) and David miraculously found them on my husband's desk.  (My husband said he never saw them there.)  2 years ago my battery charger went missing to my digital camera.  I bought a replacement.  One day I was clearning off and dusting the bookshelves in David's room and found the charger stashed behind all of his books!  He denies to this day putting it there!   I have another cord, similar, to my work digital camera that stays attached to my laptop.  That way I come home and immediately download all of my photos everyday.  Turns out that this cord will work with my pedometer, so I used it.  Now I download my exercise and steps from my pedometer daily.  Since I got it 2 weeks ago the cord has never left my office and I always have left it sitting on the credenza.  I have torn this office and house apart looking for it.  (except at this point in David's room.)  So this am, I show David the similar cord from my camera and say "have you seen a cord that looks siimilar to this?"  His reponse:  "Yeah, that's mine."  I say "this can't be yours, I just took it off of the laptop."  He says "Oh yea."  Then he proceeds to say he never saw it.  I say to him that if he took it by accident, it is ok.  Maybe he thought it was his?  I understand that.  I just want to find it so I don't go crazy.  Now, based on past history, my fear is that he will hide it or throw it away.  Conceal the evidence so he does not get in trouble.  This is what he does.  This is why he cannot accept reponsibility for his actions or admit to doing something.   So I tactfully will have to convince him to help me look for this cord this afternoon when he comes home.  Perhaps it will "magically" turn up (in the oddest place I am sure).  Or else I am stuck going to Radio Shack and spending $10 on another cord.  Ugh! I have not worked out enough this week.  My eating sucks.  Afraid to step on scale.  Cannot let myself undo the work I have done so far.
