Better day today.  I felt so horrible yesterday and all sorts of mean and horrible things came out of my mouth that I immediately regretted.  So much of it out of pain.  I went in and told David how much I loved him and I hugged him for a long time.  I know he loves us and I am frustrated because I can't seem to find the way to help him.  We went to bowling last night as a family.  (We bowl Sunday nights in a league.)  It was nice and all went well.  And all was normal with the world today.  He ate a good breakfast this am and got off to school without a hitch.  Got all his homework done this afternoon with little prompting.  So we will be ok for a little while.   I went to the Y and did my work out this morning.  Hoping to lose 2-3 lbs this week.  Desperately trying to go down to a 12 by Christmas.  I have 1 pair of jeans that are a 12 still with the tags on them from last year.  I had almost gotten into them too.  Today I ordered a winter coat at Lands End for a Christmas present to myself.  And it is a size 12.  That is how determined I am to get there.  2 weeks down, 3 weeks to go.   I think Santa bought me a Wii for Christmas!  OK, so now I am a little psyched.

I\'m so glad that the storm has calmed for the time being. I know that you spoke out of frustration. Don\'t think for one moment that my own adoptive mother didn\'t ever feel that way with me (and I didn\'t come from foster care). We had some major grief trying to get along when I hit being a teen. It does get better sweetie. Mom and I love hanging out now. I know that David loves you with all of his heart. Hang on to the good times as hard as you can sweetie. They sure make the ugly times go by faster.
