Sneakers, my 17 year old tuxedo cat of dying.  She has not eaten for a couple of days.  Then Wednesday night she could not walk on one of her front paws and then Thurs am could see her hips and hind legs going and she is falling over.  And I know she is in pain.  She has been crying for 2 days.  It was awful yesterday.  With Thanskgiving holiday, could not put her down yesterday.  I am waiting for the vet's office to open so I can call and make the appointment.  My poor son bawled last night.  It has just been ripping me up.  We were on our way home last night from my mom's for dinner and were talking about when David came to live with us.  As soon as I opened up a Berenstein Bears book to read him a bedtime story, the cat would immediately run in and jump up on the bed and sit next to him on the one side and the dog would run in and sit next to him on the other.  This was every night.  So last night David came to me crying and wanted me to read "A Mother for Choco" with him next to the cat, which I did.  He slept on the floor with her last night and the night before.   My poor little baby was a little wild kitten that my sister caught.  I am guessing she was about 5 weeks when I got her.  She was so small you could hold her in your palm.  It just hurts to see her suffer.  I blubbered for 2 whole days when we put Kahlua down.  I still cry over that dog, and that was almost 3 years ago.   so anyway, a very sad day at my house today.

Paul is going to take Sneakers to the vet at 6:30pm. I am heartbroken but it will also be a relief. It is so hard to lose her but harder to see her suffer.

OH honey! I feel for you! What an awful time to have to do this. Isn\'t it amaizing how many memories and routines you have attached to your furbabies! DH and I still have a tough time functioning when we think about our Tyler. It was so hard to say, \"the dog and cat\" and not \"CATS\"! Or \"the boys\". It\'s hard not to see him laying in the living room when I wake up every morning.
I will pray for comfort sweetie. I\'m so sorry!
