OK, here is my Santa wish list for Christmas: A Wii and Wii Fit game (so I can exercise and have fun.) This thing looks so cool. I want a Penn State banner for the wall. I will have to hold off on the Penn State pool table and pool cue until after the basement is finished. I have been doing OK on my diet. Went to the Y Sunday and Monday so far. I am keeping track of everything I am eating. It is funny. It has only been 1 1/2 weeks or so, but I can button my pants now without much effort. I have been a size 14 forever but really, I should have been a 16. My size 14's were just way too tight. So I am praying to be in a size 12 jeans by Christmas. I have some 14 pants that there is no way I can get into now (like khaki style.) So by Christmas, those should fit with no problem. I absolutely cannot wait to buy some new clothes at the lower size. It was just so bad. Nothing was fitting me anymore. It has just been too depressing to buy new clothes and I refused to go up another size. So some of my jeans were really starting to get ratty looking. I am really determined this time. This will be my 45th birthday present to myself. I will be 45 on May 23, 2009. So much of my life is out of control, or should I say "beyond my control." So this I do for me. Got my new Omron pedometer today. Have to read the directions to figure out how to use it. David got a 1/2 way decent report card. My GOD! What this kid could do if he really put forth the effort and put his mind to it. I pray everyday that I make the right choices, say the right things, steer him in the right direction, help him to reach whatever his potential is. I am thinking of those absolutely adorable battery operated stuffed dogs lying in the bed with the bellies going up and down like they are curled in a ball and sleeping. Kona is just sleeping next to me all curled up in her bed. She is just so cute. Again another blessing from God. I look at her every day and thank God and still after 9 months, cannot comprehend how anyone can just kill these babies! I speak out against puppy mills every chance I get. I want to try to reach David's brother's adoptive parents again and find out if the boys can meet. still have not told David about his brother and sister and really want to, bad. He should know. I just wish they could meet. Well, will have to say another prayer tonight for that to happen. I just think David is going to be an awesome big brother. David met a couple of boys in the neighborhood across the street. They are in 5th grade. They seem like such nice boys and the one mother wrote us a lovely note. I will have to bake some cookies and send them over.
