Got a new counselor for David.  Hard to say how things are going.  He has to get to know us and understand the situation before we can actually go forward.  But we seemed stuck before, so this has to be better.  David still getting good grades in school.  Still have my fingers crossed.   Work is progressing on my basement.  Paul's friend framing out walls and hung the doors today to the two rooms.  Paul running electric.  Whoo HOOO!  Can't wait.  I want a pool table and a pinball machine.  Both were dreams of mine as a child and we just could never afford it.  With David being an only child he is here by himself.  If I make a dream of a recreation area with pool table, pinball machine, small refrigerator with sodas, game table, place to put his toys away and play with them, tv, video games, etc, then his friends will beg to come here and play.  He really needs that.  I have my little corner for my Tony Little Gazelle machine and my weight machine.  I will be happy.  And Paul's office will be down there and a powder room.  I never want to move and when this is done, I definitely will never want to move.  This is my dream house.  So it is exciting and frustrating at the same time as I wish it was going faster and I wish Paul would let me get rid of the extra stuff in the basement which would help.   Paul's mom died years ago and we have a whole bunch of stuff from her.  We also have stuff from his Uncle, and two Aunts that passed away.  Plus stuff from my Aunt and Mom.  And Paul goes to auctions and buys more "stuff."  And stuff is a nice way to say it.  And granted, I have a lot of stuff and would love to clean up and he can't part with stuff or says it is worth a lot of money.  We have almost every toy David ever got (except for a few sold at yard sales).  So I am ready to de-clutter.
