Work is still unbelievably busy.  Every time I get a little caught up, they give me new claims.  I feel like I am on a treadmill.  I see the light at the end of the tunnel but walk or run, I never get any closer to it.  I know my customers are devastated at the least.  (I handle homeowner fires.)  I really feel for most of them.  But then there are people who are demaning, greedy, lie, etc.  And it just frustrates me.  And there are nights that I stay up until 2am or 4am to get these esimates done.  For what?  So I am very frustrated.  I actually had one customer call my boss and say he left me 9 voice mail messages and I never returned his call.  That is cause for getting written up, and I was written up over that.  I was so mad as it was a lie.  I even told my manager that I could pull my phone bill and prove he never called me once.  The write up was pulledd, but this customer lies all of the time to get his way.  AND IT WORKS!  He is building an addition on his house and got upgraded stuff on our dime!  Oh well.  People why their insurance premiums are so high.  And after all that, that guy is still a jerk. I am back again trying to lose weight, eat better, exercise.  I have to do something as this is all affecting my health.  I have been thinking for some time now that maybe I have irrritable bowl.  Is it that or something worse?  Maybe it is time to go to the doctor.  I am determined to lose the weight.  I refuse to buy any more clothes in this size.  I really should be a size bigger.  These clothes really are too tight and only some of my pairs of jeans fit.  I just can't stand it.  I think with exercise and losing weight I will feel better all around.  I love to shop for clothes but have not loved to shop for clothes for YEARS!  It is just too depressing.   David was doing really well and I was at a pinch me moment.  But then he got caught with $20 in his pocket and he made up this story about selling stuff to an unkown boy at school for the money.  Huge lie!  Then he gets caught and is angry.  Then he says he found it in the house in the basement.  I KNOW he went into my purse and took it.  I can't prove it.  I think he has taken money before.  again, can't prove it.  So I am pretty hurt I can't trust him.  I just want him to tell the truth.   I still haven't told him about his sister and brother.  I talked with his brother's adoptive mother for about 2 hours.  It is amazing but sad to hear what she is going through.  History has definitely repeated itself.  She was going to get hold of his sister's adoptive mother and give her my information.  But I have not heard from anyone.  Again, I have to talk to David about all of this soon.   David got his 1st degree black belt.  He is also student teaching at karate and doing really well.  Kona, my little baby and my joy, is now 1 year old.  Took her 1 1/2 weeks ago to a dog show and she was in the parade of rescue dogs and even got a blue ribbon!  She is just a sweetheart and I don't know what I would do without her!   Paul is depressed again and driving me crazy!  If he is this depressed now, what is he going to be like in December and Jaunary when it gets dark early and is cold?   Ok, taking my own advice:  1 day at a time.  I will focus on me.  Went to the YMCA today and did 3 miles on the elyptical machine.  I have to do this for me.

Wow honey, you really sound like you need the stress relief of the gym! What a life full you have. You are certainly right though...one day at a time. I feel your frustration with that guy though. Isn\'t it sad that people have that much influence on our job and weather we get to keep it or not! One stupid insensitive person....that\'s all it takes! Hang in there and know that I will send a prayer up for you and David. Hugs!
