I have been so busy.  Work has been gruelling.  Working all kinds of hours.  New big boss asks if I want to work CAT duty (catastrophe) due to Hurricane Ike.  We have gotten 1000 claims in Western PA alone.  I am already working OT (with no additional pay as I am salary.)  I just can't keep up and I can't do anymore.  I find it very difficult to feel sorry or empathize with people in the office as they log out every day at 4:30pm.  Here I am at 1:13amd and still working.  I feel very beat up lately.   Husband going through depression problem right now.  Driving me nuts.  Just can't focus and can't get anything done around here.  I have to get my work caught up.  I know I keep saying that.   Good thing- We were invited to take Kona to a Gordon Setter dog show this past Thursday in Gettysburg PA.  She was a rescue.  They had a rescue parade with Kona and 2 other rescue Gordons.  She did really well.  I was really proud of her.  She spent 2 1/2 hours in the car and walked into a huge room with hundreds of strangers and strange dogs and even let people pet her!  Now I could tell she was nervous but after a while she really calmed down.  So all in all a good experience.  And they gave her a big blue ribbon for participating.  That was really cool.
