The news I got today! Wow! Got an email from David's social worker from DFYS. David has a younger brother we knew nothing about in foste care with severe issues. David's sister is also in foster care! The brother's foster parents want to adopt him but want contact with us for support since we had so many of the same issues. I am ok with that. But I put a call in to the social worker that I would like to adopt his sister. My son has lit a candle in church every Sunday for her praying that she is ok. It will kill him to hear of this and I have not said anything and will not just yet (unless of course she could come live with us.) I am praying that we can adopt her. Left 2 voice mail messages and 3 emails. My heart is in my shoes right now. Wow! My husband believe it or not is ok with this. Praying, praying to God that we can adopt her. Scared to death that it won't happen!
