Brought N home from the hospital today. Wow. This has just taken over my week's vacation. Ugh! Running errands picking up equipment, picking her up from the hospital, sititng through the discharge information, etc. Then getting her out of my car and getting her into her home. I was so angry! Here I am trying to help her and she fell and there were 4 adults that all just stood there! I had to start barking out orders for people to do stuff to help me get her up and into the wheelchair and into the house. And rather unexpectantly (but a blessing from God), N's friend from Florida shows up out of the blue. So her friend is staying with her for a week. AND, her friend scrubbed the whole entire house! WOW! Even the smell was gone! Miracles do happen. So now I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow. (Her friend does not have a car.) And, the neighbor across the street got someone to fix her toilet. I also have to pick up her prescriptions tomorrow. So, hopefully, N will get better now that she is home. David threw one of his fits today. That frustrates me so much. All because I told him in fifteen minutes to turn the tv off and read for 2 hrs. He hasn't hardly read at all for 2 weeks. And he proceeded to throw the Playstation controller to the ground, stomp to his room and throw things around. He just HAS to learn to get a grip on that temper. Kona bit a toad last night. At first I did not realize what it was. She was chasing something under some plants and a bag of mulch outside and came up foaming horribly at the mouth and shaking her head. Turns out that the toad wasn't poisonous but they secrete venom that irritates a dog's mouth and makes their mouth foam. So none of the nasty side affects I was worried about. Again, Thank God! So things are a little better. I would LOVE to finish reading this book this week, finally!
