My first journal entry... i fell upon DS by accident. I'm so happy i have found a place where people really know and can relate. we all have our own unique stories and situations, but the bond is strong. I see that already! In fact yesterday i spent so much time looking at everything on the site i hardly got any work done!! haha. Stephen, my boyfriend has been gone for 2 weeks tomorrow. We will hopefully learn more about his fate on Monday when he has his plea trial. As of right now, he is looking at 45 days, of course that is preliminary and may increase or decrease depending on what happens. I am trying to brace myself, but i'm really not sure what to expect. I don't have much faith in the public defender. I don't think i am going to go to court monday... but i haven't decided. i guess we'll figure that out tomorrow when i get to see steve. I haven't visited him in this facility yet, so i don't know what to expect. that's one tough part about transfers - you get to know the procedures at one place and then they get moved and you have to relearn everything. and good luck finding someone who is helpful, right? we'll see. just can't wait to see his face! =)anyway, i feel welcome already! thanks to all!
