Rosie! My heart goes out to you. I know how hard weekends are for all of us! I try to schedule things to do on weekends! It helps a little! But there is such an empty place in my heart too. I\'m lifting you up in my prayers my friend! I\'m here!

Thank you I find that with the strength of others I will get through this just want to see a light at the end of the tunnel but I am pushing it too hard...Time is just what I must wait for...
Yes the weekends are hard. I purposely try to keep busy on the weekends. It helps a little. I feel like I am always waiting for something. I think I am waiting for tomorrow. Hoping it will be better. But we are surviving. Amazing the days go by! I am sorry you are lonesome. But we your friends are here for you. We understand. Hugs. Love, Diane
Well its 5 months...Still think of him everyday minute of every day....I find sometimes I can\'t look at pictures of him as it makes me sad...I am still broken and hope that I can someday face this without tears and sorrow...Somehow I don\'t think I will ever feel better...How can I he\'s gone....
Hi Rosie, thanks for friending me. This journey we face is so tough. My Mike passed March 1st, 2009 after 30+ yrs together from our teens. When I was in the car on the way home from the funeral, I knew in my heart I wasn\'t going to survive this loss. I sat there in 1 of 3 limos, close family and long time friends in the car with me, but I was so far away. Even though, Mike had stage 4 cancer for 12 months prior, I was in such utter shock he was really gone, the casket had driven that home to me. I just couldn\'t conceive life without him. It had been just 1 week prior, that I had to gather myself and lie with Mike, and say goodbye, tell him it was ok to let go. He was holding on and hospice told me he was waiting for me to give him permission to let go. Everyone grieves differently, no one is wrong, for me I grieved hard and isolated for around 3 yrs. to my shock, I did survive. And in my late 3rd year I started to peek my head out into life. It\'s still tough, lonely, still trying to pull myself together, trying to create a new happy life. But I have made great strides. When you are ready, you will too. My heart goes out to you, steve
