Not a bad day today. Did some baking at my Mom's and David took Shane with him to work today. I got to spend some time with Lauren and have a break. I ask him to make sure he keeps his vest on every 45 minutes and I made it a point to brush him in the morning and have him some animal walks and some pressure exercises. I got a call from my husband who said that Shane was doing great and was so happy and content. I felt happy. Then he said.....

"He's doing so well and I can tell you that he doesn't need the vest at all!!" I got quiet on the phone. I felt my heart drop. the he said "uh, but I have been putting on his vest on and off all day." I got my breath back again and said good. Then he says "I guess it could be that he's happy because he's had it on?" I said (with attitude) "Ya Think???" ahhhhhhh! I can't believe resistance is still present. sux.

oh well, I got out with my friends and had a blast. It's the weekend so I don't have to be alone all day with my kids cooped up. thank god.
