frustrated!
So she called me last week and said that she has to pay one of the counties she was arrested in almost $1000 for court fees and fines and transportation etc. If the fines are not paid then then will take it from her money on her books but will leaver her $20 on her books. So between calls to the prison and to the county to understand this I learned some things and now am beyond frustrated!
I am one of my daughters victims. She has stolen over $10,000 from me plus stuff and jewelry. Ok The bank reimbursed me 1/2 of that. This doesnt include what she took from everyone else. (long list) Yes, that still eats at me. Now I am the only one putting money on her books. Ok that's a mom thing. I love her and am willing to do this. We agreed on a set amount for each month and it is what it is. I bought her a tv and shoes etc. Ok. Now I have to pay the $1000 fine or the money that I put on her books will be used to pay her fines. The lady at the clerk of courts said that they cant take payments because "she" is responsible for her dept and they cant take payments from and outside source. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! She doesnt have a dime to her name! So the victim pays her living in their prison by putting money on her books and her victim pays her court fines (which they will accept a full payment check from and outside source)
So the victim never gets to waller in her own pity but gets to feel victimized again and again!
Grrrrr so frustrated!
Oh oh oh yeah! When I called the prison, grrr, I come to find out that she got a tattoo!!!! and they charged her $130 for blood test because she got a tattoo!!! I personally am not too fond of tattoo. (to each his own) and have made that clear to her. Last visit she showed me her new tattoo. So to add to my frustration I get to pay for her blood test for her stinkin tattoo! ahhh!!!!!

NO... don\'t put any money on her books, then you can\'t be her victim again. Let her figure out how to survive without YOUR money. It\'s simple.
Sounds harsh to say that, but reading what you wrote, that is the only way. Believe me she will find ways to survive. There are men in my guy\'s prison with that same situation, they just have money put in other people\'s accounts and have them order it for them. They have to be careful not to get caught, but it seems to work.
I would definitely consider this since she used your money for tattoo\'s, which are not a necessity of life, and the stupid blood test. Stop this now. She obviously doesn\'t feel guilt for what she did to you.
