Saturday was the funeral of my daughters boyfriend.  It was a celebration of life.  Even though he died of on overdose, during the funeral the preacher grabbed his mom and dad and stated dancing with them.  No mention of the cause of death only celebrating his life.  It was beautiful.  My husband and I and one other couple were the only white people there! lol I love it!!.  I decided that's what I want at my funeral.  When we went to talk to his parents to give our condolences, they wanted to tell us that they talked to our daughter.  They let me know her phone was stolen.  That's sad because she is a picture taker and now all per pictures are gone. Wow they are so concerned about her.  What caring, Godly people they are to care about my daughter, who's in prison, who had done them wrong, whose relationship with their now dead son should have never happened.  Yet, they are concerned about her.  So amazed by them.
Two days before the funeral, we went on a camping trip with some friends that we dont see often enough.  Left the trip to go to the funeral.  Then back to the camp ground.  Did nothing but  chill the rest of the day.  Missed a baby shower and a picnic but just needed some time with our friends and time alone.  Had a wonderful time away from everything.  Didn't get very good cell phone service!  that was a blessing.  But I did get a call from the county where my daughter was.  Her property was ready to be picked up.  So, now I know she has been transferred to the reformatory for intake.  Then I got a bazillion phone calls from her.  But my phone wont accept collect calls or allow me to set up an account.  When we got home there where a bazillion calls on our home phone.  I set up an account but havent heard from her yet.  That was 2 days ago.  Hope I hear from her today.
Now to do all the errands.  Need to get boxes to box up her things from the apartment.  We have these week to clean out the apartment. I need to get a storage shed lined up to store her things so until we figure out what to do with them.  The furniture is his parents oh yeah they told her and us that they would keep anything for her that she wants.  Still amazed by them.
Then Friday we plan on going to get her property.  It is 2 hours away and they wont send it.  grrr so we plan on taking our grandson (11 years old) with us and making a day out of it.  There is a great kids museum to stop at on the way home.  
Feeling good because I have had a reprieve, I have much to keep me busy, was blessed by the funeral service and a good Sunday service, and I know she is in the prison no longer in county where she can get counseling and take classes, where she is on her way to getting this over with.
