Sunday, February 8, 2009 – 10:30 A.M. This afternoon, I am going to a birthday party for my one of my nephews. It seems like it was just yesterday when he had another one, so I am beginning to wonder if he is trying to double up on me.   Since my physical therapy has stopped, at least for the time being, I'm not supposed to have too much to do during the weeks, but something seems to have gone wrong this one. I have at least one appointment each day, so I suspect that I will be ready to rest when Saturday rolls around.   Tomorrow I am scheduled to go to another family meeting at the mental health clinic. I finally heard from my brother (the day after I wrote a journal entry blasting him for not writing or communicating in a while). My brother said he is looking forward to this meeting because he has plenty of things to bring up. I can hardly wait to hear what they are all about. I am sure if there is a way for him to get on my case, he will find it.   This morning, the Director of Nursing for my home healthcare agency stopped by while my CNAs were getting me up. I am not sure whether she was checking on how they were doing their work, or if she was just trying to annoy me, but she did a good job at the latter.   I am looking forward to when I will be in the new program, and away from this agency. I suspect that will be in two or three months.

I\'m looking forward to it too.

I\'m wary of the brother. I hope it goes well and you get what you want, Jim. Please let us know. Let us know how the B-day party went, too.

Hugs.

A family birthday party ! Sounds grand.
I can remember the smell of sugar icing combined with the scent of smoke from just burned out candles.

Try and keep the focus on you, when it involves your brother.
Remember, he has his own stuff going on.
Keep an open mind.

The new health care situation is going to be so much better for you.
Can\'t wait.
