Sunday, November 2, 2008 – 3 P.M. This has been a good weekend, although not a particularly memorable one.  It was productive, and I managed to accomplish a few things that needed to be done.   On Friday, I received a new Hoyer lift, which will be used by my aides to get me in and out of bed.  It will be easier, and safer, than having them lift me.  All I have to do now is find someone who knows how to use it.   Yesterday I received a new Access-A-Ride card in the mail.  It turned out to be much better than I had expected.  This one is good for the rest of my life.  That means I will not have to fill out new recertification forms every other year or so.  What a relief that will be!   I received, and filled out, my presidential write in ballot.  It will be hand-delivered to the election headquarters tomorrow.   This week, I have one appointment during each of the next four days, plus another for which I do not have a day and time scheduled as of yet.  I am going to have to do some shifting around with my schedule.   Quotes of Hope:   “You cannot solve a problem until you acknowledge that you have one and accept responsibility for solving it.” Zig Ziglar
