Monday, August 12, 2008 – 5:45 P.M. This was another one of those exasperating days, although not as bad as I had during the weekend. I had a physical therapy appointment at 11 A.M., so, of course, my ride got here 90 minutes early. I shrugged my shoulders, gave a disgruntled sigh, got in the Access-A-Ride bus, and headed to the clinic. Once there, I checked in, and then went outside where they have a nice patio. I sat there for an hour, trying to relax, and think positively about my life. I am not sure that I accomplished anything, but at least I gave it a try. Shortly before eleven, I went inside the clinic until my therapist called for me. She gave me some traction therapy, and worked on loosening my muscles. She said my shoulders seemed easier for her to move now than they were before I had the pool therapy yesterday. I agreed with that. Next Tuesday, I will have another pool session. When I got back home, my former Primary Care Provider (PCP) was standing on the sidewalk. She said she just wanted to stop by and see how I was doing. I was glad to see her. When most people quit, they usually say they will stop by sometime, but that is usually the last time I see them. This evening was the first time my new PCP cooked for me. Other than the food being cold, and the chicken not being thoroughly cooked, there is nothing about which I can complain. Tomorrow morning I have an appointment to have my hearing aids checked. They do not seem to be working well, and the batteries only last a few days. Something is definitely wrong.

Chicken not cooked? Yikes! That could be bad!
It must have been a day for you because you labeled it Monday...
It\'s Tuesday.

Tuesday already? What happened to Monday? I don\'t think I\'ve ever made that mistake before now. Okay, I have to admit that I\'m wearing down somewhat. The pressure, pain, and lack of sleep is finally catching up with me.
Hey! Don\'t knock the chicken. At least it didn\'t walk off the table.
I am still giggling...
You had a good day, you did !
Or you just had a good time telling us about it.
I had fun either way.
Thanks, JimK.
I think I was wrong about you writing a book. Well, wrong and right. I think writing about your abuse was the wrong part.
I think you should right a book about your daily life. It is quite fantastic, you know. Even eating is adventurous.
If you think my adventures are entertaining, you should see what happens when my sister goes with me. She\'s crazier than I am. LOL
