Thursday, July 24, 2008 – 2:15 P.M. I just returned from getting some physical therapy for my back. The pain has already begun increasing, so I need to take some medicine soon.   After doing a fair amount of pushing, I finally got another appointment to see my social worker (Dale) at the mental health clinic. He agreed to see me on the same day that I see my psychiatrist who is also at the same clinic. This way, I can “kill two birds with one stone.”   Yesterday afternoon, I went to see my psychologist. We discussed some of the things that came up when I saw Dale, along with my sister, on Monday. At that time, my Dale read something I had written, in which I said that I had wanted “closer family ties.” My sister took that to mean in the past, but I meant it to be the present. I will try to correct it at our next session.  My psychologist said she wants me to try some EMDR next week.
