Saturday, June 14, 2008 -- 9:45 A.M. I had a lot of trouble sleeping last night. The pain in my back hit me with a vengeance. I use an air mattress and several pillows so that I can get into a good position at bedtime, but even this did not help. I took my last pain pill this morning. My pharmacy is filling a prescription for more. I hope it will be ready sometime later this morning. My computer problems are still hanging around even though I thought they had been solved. I reinstalled the software program, but ran into problems again, which meant it had to be uninstalled. The uninstall tool did not work. I need to get hold of my niece’s husband, and ask him to fix things for me either this week or next weekend. Now that school is finished for the year, the children are driving me crazy each afternoon and evening. I know they are just playing and having fun, but all of the noise is starting to get on my nerves. For the past two nights, someone has been driving a motorcycle in the hallway just outside my apartment. (The hallway runs between my apartment and one opposite mine – wide enough for the motorcycle.) If I could get some spikes like police use to stop cars, I would be tempted to try using some. That is not a practical solution, so Monday I am going to see the apartment manager and make a complaint. Enough is enough!
