Wednesday, May 21, 2008 -- 9:20 AM   Yesterday afternoon, I went to see my physical therapist. By the time I got there, I was filled with nothing but pain in my left hip and back. The level of pain has fluctuated a lot in recent months, but yesterday seemed to be the worst in a long time. It actually got to the point where I really thought that I was going to start crying out.   The first thing my physical therapist asks me whenever I see her, is how much pain I am having on a scale of one to ten, and then I have to describe it for her. Yesterday, I gave my pain a level of seven and told her that I did not know how much longer I could stand it. I should have taken my pain medication with me, but that was my own fault that I did not do it. I thought that my physical therapist would get a better idea of where the pain was located if I was not "numbed-up" with painkillers.   She used ultrasound on both my knees, and this was followed by her bending and stretching both of my legs. Although I was sure she was going to tear me apart, the therapy actually helped me a lot. The level of my pain decreased dramatically, and I began to feel as though I may live another day or two. The pain has started again this morning. I have taken some medicine, and am hopeful that it will start working within an hour or so. I am going to see my physical therapist again tomorrow.y.   This afternoon, I am going to see my psychologist. When I tell what has being going on in my life, I think that even she will be somewhat surprised at the number of problems I have been having. Oh well, it is not as if I never told her I was having problems when I first saw her.   Quotes for Success:   “Yesterday's failures are today's seeds that must be diligently planted to be able to abundantly harvest tomorrow's success.”   Anonymous
