Friday, May 2, 2008 -- 10 AM   Okay, so I know the past week has not exactly been a good one, but I still cannot find out where April went. How did May get here so quickly?    It seems as though there is always some fluidity in my life. Few things remain the same for long, and there is always a constant change from one week to another. Now and then, some things manage to change faster than I would expect.   One case in point might be the situation concerning the Freedom Service Dogs. At first, I was unable to get any contact with the agency at all. My phone calls went unanswered, as did my e-mail. I kept calling until I got a live human being on the phone. We had a brief conversation and she told me that she had replied to my e-mail. I checked my e-mail box and saw that she had indeed.   The agency sent me a fifteen-page questionnaire. The whole thing raised more questions than it answered. If I use their agency, and get a dog from them, I must pay a "slight" fee of $1500.   They also want to know how I am going to walk the dog each day and take care of any elimination from his/her body. That is a good question. I cannot see myself going around in my motorized wheelchair carrying a pooper-scooper with me. I am beginning to think that it might be better for me to look at another agency.   Just as I suspected earlier this week, the new CNA I had gotten was turning out great. It seems as though all good things in my life come to an end far too soon. I received a voicemail from the agency yesterday afternoon, informing me that this CNA was being replaced this morning. No explanation was given. The new one was being trained to work with me this morning, and I have serious doubts as to whether she has ever done this type of work before today. I am not happy about the situation, but I will give her a fair chance before I say anything to her agency.   There was a major problem with my computer yesterday. I rebooted it, but the desktop refused to come up. I tried everything I could think of under the sun to get the computer to work properly. It took more than four hours of my trying before it started working again. By that time, I was ready to throw the computer out the window.    Quotes for Success:   “Many a man owes his success to his first wife, and his second wife to his success.”   Anonymous
